Oak window seat and book cases, private residence,
Massachusetts
Built-in furniture designed and built by BTA
Glimpsed through a pair of leaded glass doors from a
spacious entry hall in a home designed and built by BTA, this window seat
provides a gracious retreat and anchors the cozy room it occupies. BTA
harvested and milled the dimensional red and white oak.
- Designed and built by BTA, the clean and simple lines of this red oak
coffee table provide a graceful counterpoint to an apparent low-slung
strength. Functional and durable, the table is constructed of BTA
harvested and milled oak and measures W24" X L39" X H18".
- Elegant and modernist in approach, the Cube Table measures W24" X L24"
X H24". Designed as a pair of parenthesis for a leather and oak settee,
these granite and red oak pieces riff on a thematic established by a
massive granite mantel.
- Currently in design, these bed posts will support a simple walnut
mortise and tenon frame. The commission is for a pair of single beds for
a child´s bedroom in Massachusetts. The finial design is a playful
interpretation of the more traditional Empire Style.
