PROFILE
1973 1983 2013
Houston, Texas 1976: the country celebrates its
bicentennial and a seventeen year old celebrates his first job framing
houses after school. Principal Brett Thibault continued framing until his
sophomore year at the University of Texas when he began an apprenticeship
with a finish carpenter. He eventually moved on to joinery, case making
and finally custom furniture. In 1992, while working on a complex
residence designed by architects Fay Jones and Maurice Jennings, he began studies for
his professional degree in architecture. Now a registered architect, Brett
is a seasoned designer, furniture maker, building scientist and forensic
expert. He founded BTA in 2010. Please review the Services page for all
the things he can do for you.
